The themes for this year’s conference sessions are:
- Climate Variability and Change, and other Stressors
- Behavioral and Physical Processes Influencing Transport, Settlement, and Recruitment
- Technological Advances
- Taxonomy and Systematics
- Applications to Management and Aquaculture
- Other Contributed Papers
Abstract Guidelines
All abstracts must be in English. Abstract formatting should include the following:
- Title
- Do not capitalize all letters
- Use italic and capital letters where appropriate
- Do not use chemical or mathematical formulae or Greek characters
- Author(s)
- For multiple authors, the presenting author’s name should be in bold
- Order: First name Last name
- Separate co-authors’ names by comma
- Last two co-authors’ names are separated with “and”
- Put numbers of corresponding affiliations after the last names
- Affiliation(s)
- Include for all authors;
- Include email address for corresponding author only
- Body
- Must be no more than 250 words (excluding authors, title, and addresses)
- Do not include illustrations, equations, figures or photos

Abstract Acceptance
Submitters will receive notification emails from larvalfishconference@gmail.com regarding acceptance of their abstracts (as poster or oral presentations).
Presenter Guidelines
Oral presentations are scheduled for 15 minutes (12 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for questions). Talks must be prepared in Power Point (.ppt or .pptx). To save time, talks will be presented on conference laptops. Please make sure to upload your talk to the laptop (in each room) prior to your session.
The poster session will be held Tuesday evening August 30. The poster boards will be available all day Tuesday. Poster dimensions should be no larger than 3′ x 4′: printed poster height 36 inches, printed poster width 48 inches. Please place your poster in the board displaying the number assigned to your poster.
